Details

In the morning, we will pick you up from any city location of Fukuoka.

In the morning, explore Dazaifu and Tenmangu Shrines. Founded in the late 7th century, Dazaifu functioned as the administrative hub for the whole island of Kyushu for more than 500 years. Nowadays, Dazaifu is a tranquil, small city often considered the back garden of Fukuoka. It is an ideal destination for a day trip for both locals and international tourists.

Dazaifu Tenmangu is located just a few minutes from Dazaifu station. The bustling pedestrian street, filled with shops, restaurants, cozy cafes, and sweet stands, provides a lively contrast to the tranquil town, welcoming thousands of visitors daily.

As you stroll down the street, you'll arrive at the renowned Tenmangu Shrine. No matter your faith, you are welcome to show your respect or pray at the temple. Write your message on a votive tablet, then either hang it in the designated area or take it home with your wish.

Towards noon time, you will select ONE of the two options for lunch and afternoon activity.

Option 1 (December through April, strawberry season)

At our chosen farm, you'll have the opportunity to pick strawberries by hand. The farm offers premium strawberries that will leave a lasting impression with their unparalleled freshness, sweetness, and juiciness, unlike anything you can find in a supermarket. Enjoy picking and eating to your heart's content.

Option 2 (year round)

Travel to a renowned water town known as the "Venice of Fukuoka." The residents use the canal's water for drinking, farming, and transport. You can experience boating on the canals. Lunch at a restaurant with centuries of history offers a special dish: eel rice (Unagi Seiro Mushi).
